International DiGA (Digital Therapeutics) Summit

Event for digital health providers to learn about Germany’s DVG* Fast Track, hear policy makers & regulators and get your questions answered by the German DiGA experts.
The DiGA Fast Track is Germany’s new, structured way for digital healthcare solutions (German: DiGA) to get access to the German statutory healthcare system, reaching more than 75 million citizens. *It has been defined by the Digital Healthcare Act (DVG) in 2019.
Since May 2020, the online application form for DiGA at BfArM (Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices – German equivalent to the FDA) is live. DiGA that successfully pass the application process can be prescribed by any German physician and psychotherapist, DiGA manufacturers get reimbursed by the German statutory health insurers.
The health innovation hub (hih), the think tank financed by the Federal Ministry of Health, was sparring partner for the Ministry as well as BfArM during the development and implementation of the DiGA Fast Track and is communicating the new regulation to various stakeholders.
The English-speaking “International DiGA Summit” is targeting digital health companies, policy makers and payer representatives from across the world to outline the DiGA Fast Track in detail, present the process towards approval and be there for extensive Q&A.
